Opel's Performance Heritage Re-Awakened with Steinmetz Astra GTC

Opel's performance heritage is re-awakened in the Steinmetz Astra GTC. Lowered, with 19“ wheels, the Steinmetz Astra GTC harmoniously combines a complete aerodynamic package with the Opel in Sports mode, making the car even more agile at the touch of a button.

Suspension Upgrade

Lowered by a little more than 1 inch, the Astra GTC is crouched ready for action. Safety and uncompromising driving pleasure are at the forefront of the set-up. Both the standard suspension and IDS plus suspension with Sports Mode are taken into account. The Steinmetz springs lower the centre of gravity of the Astra, which reduces the roll tendency on cornering and allows faster direction changes. Driving the road becomes a pleasurable experience and you simply won't want to stop.

Wheels

Much of the Astra GTC's sporting appearance is down to the Steinmetz alloy wheels in two different designs. Firstly the Type ST1 with closed spokes and secondly the Type ST3, available in 19" in silver and also in Shadow silver.

Bodywork

The Steinmetz designers have worked on the new Astra with precision and dedication, and included the influence of the dynamic centre crease in the design. A striking external symbol of Steinmetz is the honeycomb front grille with the Steinmetz Logo which gives a sporting emphasis to the Opel front. The front is completed by the front spoiler, which fits neatly onto the standard skirt.

The side skirts are designed to follow the lines to the rear and give the Astra an even lower appearance. For rearward visibility, the electrically adjustable and heated Steinmetz sports mirrors have been adapted to the shape of the Astra.

For the roof spoiler, the Steinmetz designers have come up with something special. A two-piece roof spoiler gives more downforce on the rear axle, the creates the "wow" effect for anyone viewing the Astra GTC from behind. Finally, on the same visual line as the side skirts and front skirt, the Steinmetz rear skirt was developed to give every Astra driver freedom to choose a rear silencer. Standard, left or left/right - the rear skirt has been designed to meet almost every wish.

Further body accessories include designer stripes in silver or anthracite, and the aluminum filler cap.

Interior

Steinmetz Opel-Tuning has developed a new aluminum gearknob for the Astra H. This sits perfectly in the hand on gear changes. The interior is finished with the aluminum handbrake handle, the 3-piece aluminum pedal set, and the aluminum foot rest. Steinmetz complete the atmosphere with the 4-piece foot mat set with the Steinmetz logo in stainless steel and sill trims.
